Mercedes-Benz has been working on the next AMG CLA-Class for more than a year. It looks like the carmaker is finally set to reveal the sporty CLA soon, as the first teaser just dropped on the brand’s social media handles.
The single teaser image shared by Mercedes provides a glimpse of the new CLA AMG. The car is seen in a side profile, showcasing its signature four-door coupe design. It is fitted with AMG-specific wheels and has red brake calipers.
The new AMG CLA-Class is expected to feature connected LED headlights with star-shaped DRLS and a Panamericana grille. Reports suggest that it might also get an active rear spoiler.
Technical details of the new AMG CLA-Class are unknown. If this isn’t a high-performance version of the EV that’s already on sale, it will most likely have a hybrid under the hood.
