McLaren has dropped the first teaser of the upcoming mid-engined supercar, the 788 HS. It will be unveiled at the Goodwood Festival of Speed on July 9, 2026.
The teaser shows the evolution of McLaren’s Super Series, starting with the 720S, 750S and the 765LT. The new 788 HS is expected to be the most track-focused version of the current crop.
The McLaren 788 HS will be based on the same carbon fibre architecture as the 750S. It is expected to be powered by a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine tuned to 800 hp.
Sources tell us that the 788 HS will come in both Coupe and Spider versions, with production limited to 100 units each. The starting price is estimated to be around $600,000.
