Hennessey Venom F5-M to debut as world’s most powerful manual hypercar

Hennessey is all set to unveil the Venom F5-M at the Goodwood Festival of Speed (July 9–12), and it might just be the most outrageous driver’s car of this decade. Why? Well, because the Texas-based brand is claiming it to be the world’s most powerful manual hypercar!

Let’s start with the headline figure then—2,031 bhp. That’s what you get from Hennessey’s monstrous 6.6-litre twin-turbocharged ‘Fury’ V8, now paired with something almost extinct in this segment: a 6-speed gated manual gearbox.

The F5-M builds on the ‘Venom F5 Evolution’ package, bringing upgraded aerodynamics, active suspension, and sharper dynamics. It sits on a lightweight carbon-fibre chassis, wrapped in bespoke bodywork. And yes, it’s a roadster—because apparently 2,000+ horsepower feels better with the roof off.

Apart from that, the hypercar features advanced traction control and engine management systems to keep things pointed in the right direction. Or at least try to.

Hennessey is going to build only 12 units of the Venom F5-M Roadster, and each one will be tailored as per its owner.
