Some cars are special. Others come with a story. This 2006 Ford GT has both! Originally owned by motoring legend Jeremy Clarkson, this rare and iconic American car is now up for sale, and it’s exactly the kind of machine that gets enthusiasts talking.
Finished in classic blue with white racing stripes, it wears its Le Mans heritage proudly. But this isn’t just about aesthetics.
Under the hood is a 5.4-litre supercharged V8 pushing out 550 hp and 500 lb ft of torque, sent straight to the rear wheels through a 6-speed manual gearbox. 0-60 mph comes up in around 3.7 seconds, and it’ll keep pulling hard to a top speed of roughly 205 mph.
This particular Ford GT is one of just 101 EU-supplied cars, making it a rare sight on this side of the world. It has covered 28,000 miles and boasts a solid service history, maintained by specialists. More importantly, it appears to have been preserved in excellent condition.
