After giving us a good look at the Mercedes-AMG GT 4-Door Coupe’s interior earlier this year, the German auto giant is now prepping to show its hand. The brand with the famous three-pointed star is going to reveal its new fully-electric performance machine on May 19.
We can see in the available image that the Mercedes-AMG GT 4-Door Coupe is going sideways, flaunting its coupe design and giving us a glimpse of its round taillights. There’s also a rear spoiler neatly integrated into the EV’s boot lid. Apart from that, what’s visible is a sculpted rear bumper with aero bits and big black alloy wheels.
Being an AMG, it has to be sporty. What we know so far is that it will come with a 14-inch central touchscreen that will be angled towards the driver. The driving position will be sporty thanks to the low-set seat. And a driver-oriented cockpit will add to the overall experience.
It is being anticipated that the Mercedes-AMG GT 4-Door Coupe will be derived from the GT XX Concept that had a 1322 hp tri-motor setup and an estimated top speed of 223 mph. Well, now it’s just a matter of a few days, and we will get to know what exactly this electric madness will be all about.
