Ferrari CEO confirms new special model to debut on July 4

Ferrari will be celebrating US Independence Day with a special model. We believe it’s the highly anticipated manual 12Cilindri. In fact, we were the first to report about it in May 2026.

Ferrari CEO Beneditto Vigna, while addressing a dealer conference in Las Vegas, said, “In a few weeks, if you can bear with us a little bit, then you will see something new where we put together something from the past with eyes on the future.”

“Let’s say wait till the fourth of July. It’s really soon,” he added.

Rumoured to be called the 12Cilindri MM, the new V12 grand tourer will reportedly get a trick manual transmission. It won’t be a manual in the traditional sense, but a Koenigsegg-style shift-by-wire unit that electronically simulates an H-pattern gearbox.

The V12 engine might remain unchanged. The 6.5-liter naturally aspirated unit produces 819 hp @ 9250 rpm and 500 lb-ft @ 7250 rpm.
