Ferrari FXX-K Evo sells for over 3-times the price of the P1 GTR at auction


A 2015 Ferrari FXX-K Evo just sold at RM Sotheby’s auction in London for $6.22 million, more than three times that of a McLaren P1 GTR, which was also offered at the same auction. It went for just $1.72 million.

The FXX-K finished in Bianco Italia with Rosso Fuoco and Argento accents has just over 3,500 miles on the odometer. It was upgraded to the Evoluzione specification by Ferrari Corse Clienti. Since the upgrade, the car has covered only 38 miles.

The FXX-K Evo is the most extreme track version of the LaFerrari. Only 60 examples were built. The Evoluzione spec features an upgraded aerodynamics package that produces 23% more downforce than the standard FXX-K.

Powering the FXX-K Evo is an upgraded 6.3-liter V12 engine that makes 858 hp. The hybrid system provides an additional boost of 187 hp for a total output of 1035 hp.

McLaren P1 GTR RM Sothebys Auction-1

The McLaren P1 GTR sold during the same auction was #14 out of 58 examples produced and had 4,161 miles on the clock.
