Big discounts and supercars don’t usually go hand in hand. But this year’s Australian end-of-financial-year sales have made it happen, with the McLaren Artura seeing price cuts of up to A$100,000 on select stock cars.
That’s a serious number, even in supercar standards. The offer applies to existing inventory, effectively bringing the Artura into a price bracket it was never meant to be in. Suddenly, a hybrid supercar starts looking like a relative bargain.
The timing isn’t random. EOFY sales in Australia have become increasingly aggressive, with brands pushing hard to clear stock before June 30. Cashback deals and incentives are common – but six-figure discounts on a McLaren? That’s a steal deal for sure.
The McLaren Artura is powered by a 3.0L twin-turbo V6 engine. Together with the electric motor, the supercar has a power output of 671 hp. There’s an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission for quick gear changes. This allows the Artura to reach 62 mph in just 2.9 seconds, and attain a top speed of 205 mph.
