The Ferrari Cavalcade Aventura has been suspended following a brutal accident.
During the rally, which was held in San MartÃn de los Andes, Argentina, a white Ferrari Purosangue crashed into oncoming traffic. The car was travelling at such a high speed that it rolled over multiple times before colliding with a tree.
According to media reports, the Ferrari was doing 124 mph and veered into the opposite lane. From the point of impact, the car travelled approximately 400 meters before coming to rest.
The Purosangue was destroyed in the crash. Two American citizens, aged 66 and 68, were in the car during the accident. The driver suffered serious injuries. Both occupants were rushed to a nearby hospital and were later discharged.
Authorities said that the accident was caused by excessive speed and disobeying safety instructions.
