Porsche is all set to reveal the all-electric Cayenne online later today, before making its public debut at the Porsche Festival in Dubai on November 22. But a leaked image of the new Cayenne EV is already circulating on social media.
The Cayenne EV is based on Porsche’s latest PPE (Premium Platform Electric) architecture. The exterior appears to have been designed on the same lines as the Macan EV. It has the brand’s signature horizontal LED headlamps with a blanked-out, featureless nose section with vents on either side and additional intakes positioned on the air dam. The rear features slim LED taillights connected by a continuous strip of LEDs.
The Cayenne EV is expected to be offered with a 113 kWh battery, offering over 600 km of range. It will be powered by two electric motors with an estimated output of more than 1000 hp, making it the most powerful production Porsche ever made. The SUV will be capable of sprinting from 0-62 mph in less than 3 seconds and will have a top speed in excess of 155 mph.
