McLaren plans 5 new models by 2030; SUV coming in 2028

McLaren announced its product plan at a recently held global dealer meeting held at the McLaren Creation Centre in Bicester, England. As per the details that have come out in the media, the British supercar brand plans to introduce 5 new models, including an SUV, by 2028.

McLaren SUV

McLaren’s first four-door SUV, codenamed P47, was reportedly unveiled at the event, albeit as a clay model.

The P47 is said to be slightly larger than the Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT. It will be a 5-seater SUV with a V8 hybrid under the hood.

McLaren 750S successor

The replacement for the 750S is due in 2027. While it will continue to be powered by a V8 engine, this time, it will have hybrid assistance. It goes without saying that the new supercar will pack even more power than the 750S.

The 750S successor will rival the Ferrari 849 Testarossa.

McLaren 750S Final Edition

But before the 750S goes out of production, McLaren plans a limited-edition model, which could be called the 788HS. Reports suggest that it will be available as a Coupe and Spider and will be limited to 200 cars each.

Last year, McLaren revealed their latest hypercar. The McLaren W1 is a replacement for the P1. Now, as per the latest reports, a Spider version is coming in 2028.
