Lamborghini Temerario Super Trofeo teased ahead of debut

The Lamborghini Temerario GT3 made its debut at Goodwood earlier this year. Now, the company is all set to roll out the Temerario Super Trofeo. The first teasers have just dropped, and we can confirm that the new track car will break cover next weekend at the Misano Circuit in Italy.

Lamborghini Super Trofeo is a one-make racing championship conducted by Lamborghini Squadra Corse. Until recently, it featured the Huracan Super Trofeo Evo 2, which will now be replaced with the new Temerario.

The one-make series is held across three continents: Europe, Asia, and North America. Each race weekend consists of two races of 50 minutes each.

Compared to GT3-spec machines, the Super Trofeo cars have less efficient aerodynamics. They are heavier and slightly slower as well. The engine is based on the production version. In the case of the new Temerario Super Trofeo, it will be the 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8.
