Subaru Performance-B STI Concept unveiled: Impreza WRX STI reborn!

Subaru has unveiled a new concept car at the Japan Mobility Show 2025. It’s called the Performance-B STI, and it reminds us of the rally-inspired Impreza WRX STI, which was discontinued in 2021.

The Performance-B STI concept is based on the second-gen WRX. It’s a high-performance hatchback featuring typical STI upgrades. The sporty body kit includes a front splitter, extended side skirts and a diffuser. It also comes with a vented bonnet, wide fenders and a massive rear spoiler.

The Performance-B STI concept is finished in Subaru’s signature blue exterior colour with red accents. Wish they had given it gold wheels instead of these grey ones.

Subaru hasn’t revealed what’s under the bonnet, though. It’s most likely a turbocharged 2.5-liter 4-cylinder boxer engine.

Subaru also unveiled the Performance-E STI Concept. It’s a fully electric performance car.
